Located in Singapore’s central business district, Marina Bay Sands is one of the world’s most iconic integrated resorts, featuring a luxury hotel, convention center, shopping, dining, and entertainment venues. Project Lighting Design (PLD) specified 366 Remote Controlled Lighting (RCL) luminaires to illuminate the hotel’s dramatic 30-story atrium, using custom light bars and remote-controlled technology to overcome the unique architectural challenges of the sloping towers. The flexible lighting solution delivers precise illumination, seamless day-to-night transitions, and simplified maintenance while enhancing one of the world’s largest hotel atriums.
